Guests Treated to Backstage Surprise During Obama’s Speech

Imagine the day that Walt Disney World management heard President Obama was going to speak in the Magic Kingdom and it would require them to close off the whole of Main Street USA. Unlike Disneyland Paris, there are no side walkways to allow guests to pass so they had to come up with a unique solution and very unique it was. Disney could have just let guests enter the park from a backstage area, apologised for the lack of “magic” and gone on with their day. After all, this was only for a few hours. But, this is Disney we are talking about. Instead, they gave guests some very unique opportunities as they made their way into the park. Guests were treated to close up opportunities with parade floats, sculptures and a lot of flags as they made their way in to the park. Luckily, Jeff Lang DVD and Mousesteps.com were on hand to capture it all.

And, if you didn’t get chance to hear what Obama said, take a look at the full speech below.
