See every one of the Disney 50 at BFI Southbank as the influential animation studios celebrate their 50th animated theatrical feature with a year’s worth of film screenings.

A year of Disney
Whether your favourite childhood Disney film was Cinderella, One Hundred and One Dalmations, The Aristocats, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King or Lilo and Stitch, you’re bound to find a film screening to make you come over all nostalgic during The Disney 50 at BFI Southbank extended season. The year long partnership between the Walt Disney Animation Studios and the BFI Southbank sees all 50 of Disney’s animated motion pictures being screened throughout the year, including the studios’ latest project, Tangled.

Tangled
The most recent film to be screened as part of The Disney 50 at BFI Southbank is tangled, a retelling of the classic fairytale Rapunzel. Featuring all the beautiful animation, humour and music that audiences have come to expect from Disney films, Tangled follows the adventures of the long haired Princess Rapunzel, who ventures out of her tower for the first time after falling in love with a passing bandit. The screening takes place on the day of Tangled’s UK premiere on 16th January 2011.
