Well, could I be any more excited? I love Disney and I love the theatre and have a bit of a passion for Shakespeare. A year ago, if you told me the three would come together I would have called you a liar. But, yes, believe it or not. Disney Theatrical Productions and Sonia Friedman Productions have embarked on a new project, Shakespeare In Love: The Play.

Based on the Mirimax Studios film, the play uses this as it’s basis to retell this romantic comedy. With a book by Lee Hall (most famous in the West End for his script for Billy Elliot, as well as screenplays for such films as War Horse), it takes us into Elizabethan England like no play has taken us before. Shakespeare in Love boasts one of the largest cast for a play to grace the stage and is almost certainly going to be a West End hit. Tickets are now on sale here. Tickets are currently on sale for performances until 25 October 2014 and are priced as follows:

Performances until 23 July 2014
£52.50, £37.50, £20.00, £10.00

Performances from 24 July 2014
£57.50, £42.50, £25.00, £15.00
