For years Disney resort guests were only able to connect to the Internet in their room through an Ethernet cable not long enough to do anything with and one of the most requested services was the availability of wifi in guest rooms. With the world now living in the ‘i’ age, wifi has become more and more important for connecting to the world wide web, especially foreign travellers with expensive roaming charges. So from today (14th October), guests will be able to access wifi from their resort room at the following resorts –

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Disney’s Polynesian Resort
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort
Disney’s Yacht Club

As if that isn’t enough, the cost to guests will be zero, zilch, nada, nothing! Disney will provide the wifi service free of charge in the above moderate and deluxe resorts. There is no news on whether a chargeable service will hit the value resorts but only time will tell.
