On Saturday, 5th March Walt Disney World will be holding a very special passholder only event to celebrate the 5th birthday of Expedition Everest. The attraction opened in 2006 in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.

Annual passholders who register before the event will get the chance to attend this special event that runs after the park closes. Beginning at 6 and ending at 9pm, it will give passholders the chance to ride the attraction in the dark, something that very rarely happens. Registration opens at www.disneyworld.com/passholder on 18th February

It is unclear as to what Disney have planned for the event although it would be good to see the Yeti working again. Disney usually put on a good show for passholders and this should be no different!
