The Disney Youth Programme has exsisted for years, offering young people the chance to visit Walt Disney World and learn about many aspects people might not think about during a family vacation. It was Walt Disney that came up with the term “Edutainment” and the latest offering does exactly that. Based on the popular Kingsdom Keepers book series, and written by the author of the series, Ridley Pearson, the quest take adventurers through the Magic Kingdom to solve the riddles and save the park. Accordin to the Disney Parks Blog the quests “involves problem solving, visualization, observation, creativity, math skills, language arts and critical thinking. Students will have the opportunity to work together to solve puzzles throughout Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort — just as the Keepers do in the first book, Kingdom Keepers: Disney After Dark.”
