Every year the banks of the River Seine are turned in to a temporary beach. For one month the Paris Plages bring visitors to the river to enjoy a Summer vibe in the city and for the first time, Disney have joined the party. You may remember that we brought you news of the Blankenberge Sand Sculpture Festival in Beligium where that have taken the Magical Moments theme and created a whol exhibition around it. It seems that this got Disney thinking as not only do they have a beach but they have also built a 16 foot sand replica of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

The center piece of the beach took over 300 hours to build and is situated next to the Pont Notre-Dame, almost opposite the Notre Dame Catherdral. If you are thinking of taking a look, head over to the Paris Plages website for more details.
