Yesterday evening, Disneyland debuted its version of the new show “The Magic, The Memories and You”. Unlike the Magic Kingdom version, this show is projected on to the front of it’s a small world in Disneyland’s Fantasyland. The show was given a special preview performance at 6pm with the premiere at 7.30pm.

The show at the Disneyland Resort will perform nightly and the Disney Parks Blog have released times and some useful tips on viewing

WHERE:An ideal place to see the projections will be from the Fantasyland esplanade, which runs from the front of “it’s a small world” to the entrances of the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Mad Tea Party attractions.

WHEN: The current show schedule is:

    7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday
    8 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
Show times are at www.disneyland.com and are subject to change or cancellation

Below is the official Disney video released on the Disney Parks Blog followed by a full video uploaded to YouTube by TopChefRemy.

The show is almost identical in its storyline with the effects having altered slightly due to the shape of the attractions facade versus Cinderella castle. It seems that the photos are much more prominent in this version then in the Orlando equivalent and some of the effects do not work as well. The rocket liftoff in Florida looks amazing but is a little less impressive in the Disneyland version.

Which version is your favourite?
