It seems that Disneyland Paris are really looking ahead to what is coming in 2012 as more details, albeit at rumours stage are beginning to emerge from the resort. Before we move on to the rumour stuff here is what we know has happened recently.

This past week, Disneyland Paris have taken character in to the centre of Paris to film for the new 20th anniversary adverts. We don’t know the context of the advert but there will be a good number of children involved as they have also been auditioned this week to be part of the project. We don’t expect the whole advert to have been filmed in the centre of the city but at least we now know that work is well underway.

Now, on to the rumours, specifically the fate of the Once Upon a Dream Parade. The parade, by the time the 20th comes around, will be 5 years old with a few tweaks here and there. From what we understand (and this is rumours remember), the Once Upon a Dream Parade will totally change. Whether the name will stay and if we get new music is unclear but there are expected to be new floats ready for the new parade. Mickey and Minnie will no longer be on the front balloon float but will move to a more romantic float. Princesses will get there own share of the parade as many will parade down the route in their own themed Horse and Carriage. Interestingly, it looks like we are saying goodbye to Aladdin and Princess Jasmine and their place will be taken up by Flynn Rider and Rapunzel.

The final rumour is talk oif a new night time parade through the Disneyland Park. This could utilise some of the previous Once Upon A Dream floats but its likely that there may be something new. Fantillusion’s fate is unknown with regards to this new move but as we find out more we will make sure you all know.

What do you think? Interesting new changes?
