Although we don’t know what we are getting exactly it seems that Disney Store UK are taking a leaf out of the US counterparts book and we are going to be getting some of the great Disneyland Paris merchandise on the UK online store. Here are a couple of screenshots from the UK website.
Merchandise at the resort itself is expected to appear on the shelves from 1st March and we could see it online very shortly after, if not on the same day. According to the website, there will be many items available including “collectibles”. Does this mean we might be seeing that new 20th anniversary Vinlymation set winging its way to the UK. We will have to wait and see but in the meantime, we are working to get some more details to share with you.We are particularly interested to see what the price difference will be between in park and online.
What do you think? Are you happy to see park exclusive items coming to the UK or would you prefer the chance to get them when you visit? Let us know.
Personally it doesnt bother me if the dlp vinyls are exclusive to the parks. At the end of the day, they have mail order from the parks so its Ilrelevent.
With the limited selection we have here, why not sell it through the website. I could see a reason for not selling them in stores .
At the end of the day, we are only a few hundred miles from the park. They might as well try and sell it here, worst case they have to ship the stock back to Paris.
I just find it very frustrating that they don’t have anything in place to allow disabled collectors to get items without having to travel – so I hope these do come to DS.co.uk just to allow us to have a chance of getting it without feeling alienated just cos we’re disabled which is certainly the case at the moment.
