We are pleased to announce that there is one more Q&A planned for the event. As you know, being in the UK it is impossible to find the money to bring a guest over from the US. Luckily, due to the wonders of video conferencing we can invite both Len Testa (Co-author of the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and brains behind Touring Plans, Lines and the WDW Crowd Calendar)  and AJ Wolfe (Owner of the Disney Food Blog to talk to us. As well as these two great guests we also have one more, very special guest to announce. As part of the weekend we will also be welcoming Bill Farmer, the one and only official voice of Goofy to join us for a Q&A. We have confirmation of him joining us but the time is still to be arranged. As soon as we know we will include it in the itinerary.

We are expecting most attractions to operate for the full 24 hours although some will be required to close so that any daily maintenance can be carried out. It is believed that this will be done of a rotation basis and done through the early hours of Thursday 1st March

Disney have indicated that there will be at least one dining location open in the park at any one time. We are not aware if this will be on a rota or if they will keep the same location open and rotate staff. Expect it o be a counter service location and possibly a table service location.

At times during the event there will be a Dance Party around the Castle Hub

There are also rumours of appearances by several lesser seen characters as well as Captain Jack Sparrow and the first meet and greet in the Magic Kingdom for Phineas and Ferb. Of course, these are subkect to change but once we know more we will let you know.

The first four in the set are now available from the Disney Store website with both Donald and Dale released later in the year. There has been reports that not all stores have received stock yet and some Scottish locations will not get them until Wednesday. Early reports suggest that each store has around 10 of each Vinyl and some UK collectors have begun ringing their local stores to reserve them to collect. If you are planning on buying them online, there is one little trick you must use. When searching for the Vinyls, make sure to search for Vinylmations. Missing off the ‘S’ will only return three of the four in your search. Let’s take a look at the first image of the finished products

As we welcome the Tunes to the UK it seems we may be finally saying goodbye to an old timer. As the Vinylmation Tunes appeared online it seems that the Disney Store website has finally run out of Have a Laugh

Although we never expected them to last forever it does leave us with a somewhat depleted selection. It also means that the UK doesn’t have any blind box sets to collect online. There are still some available in store and a handful; of locations still have Urban 5 but it leaves us wondering what the next blind box set will be. Are we expecting it the be the 25th anniversary set or will Disney have something up their sleeve beforehand. With the early departure of Furry Friends it does mean that there needs to be a shift in the strategy of the Disney Store to make sure their is supply for what seems to be the ever increasing demand of the UK Vinylmation fans.

What do you think is coming next?

The new website looks great but don’t be fooled that this site will give you a big insight in to what is happening during the 20th year that we don’t know already. The site is designed for your “average” guest, not the super fans of the community that follow every step the resort makes. The mini-site uses all of the concept art and video released via the Disneyland Paris Twitter and Youtube channel. The website split itself into 5 section, each sharing information on the new additions coming to the park.

Each page shares a small piece of text that gives an overview of the show or event as well as a video in the centre that gives an overview of what ti expect. In the example above, the video uses test run video, backstage images and descriptions from people like Imagineer Steve Davison to give guests the best possible picture of what to expect.

The final section of the website give guests the chance to use Social Media to keep up to date with all the latest news. Guests will be able to link up to their Twitter, Facebook and Youtube pages.

As well as the launch of this mini-site, Disney have introduced some of the costumes and music for the 20th anniversary. Yesterday saw the resort’s annual general meeting and as part of the event, shareholders were treated to a glimpse of what is to come. Luckily, Disney Magic Interactive were on hand to get video of what was presented. During the meeting guests were given a sneak preview of the costumes and parade music for the new Disney Magic on Parade. The new song “Magic Everywhere” was played as well as a dance routine performed by cast from the resort.

Imagine our surprise when VM_Paris posted some photos today that came from Disneyland Paris showing that not only are the Park 8 series available but also that tho topper is available too. This might not be too much of a surprise from the list above but according to posts on several social media sites claiming that the US didn’t get the toppers yesterday as expected.

On a similar vein, Disneyland Paris also got some of the 9″ Park 8 Vinylmation

Finally, as a bonus, VM_Paris also posted an image from the Paris Disney Store where you can pick up a very stereotypical Vinylmation!

La Luna is the timeless fable of a young boy who is coming of age in the most peculiar of circumstances. Tonight is the very first time his Papa and Grandpa are taking him to work. In an old wooden boat they row far out to sea, and with no land in sight, they stop and wait. A big surprise awaits the little boy as he discovers his family’s most unusual line of work.
