We must stress that this is still pure speculation but today we received news that Disney may be considering launching a new FastPass system for Deluxe resorts guests known as XPass. Earlier in the year we mentioned and showed patent application for a new style FastPass that would allow guests to choose a time to visit certain attractions in advance without the need to leave their resort room. It seems XPass will be the preferred name for the system although there are still a large number of unanswered questions. Here are just a few we can think of:

Do you have to be a valid ticket holder before you can book?
Is it available to Annual Passholders?
Are DVC members eligible?
Will it only allow the correct number of guests per room to Pre reserve?
Will the perk effect in park FastPass availability?
Will you be able to book before arriving at the resort to aid trip planning?

I’m sure you can think of many others and have your own opinion on this. If so, please comment below.

As we have already said, this is still runout and will remain so until Disney say otherwise. We sincerely hope Disney have thought this through if it is on the way,

Your thoughts?

  1. I know everyone wants to be treated fair but I think if they start a new Fast Pass they should start something for just people who are staying at the resorts itself.
