There has been rumours spreading since the Summer that Duffy the Disney Bear could be heading over to Disneyland Paris. The latest whispers suggested he would be arriving in time for the Christmas season and then staying through to the end of the 20th Anniversary celebration. That would mean we would see Duffy in the Paris park from December 2011 all the way to April 2013 at the very least!
What makes us think this is becoming a bit more realistic? This month Disney have released a series of new pins for the resort. Some are Halloween, some Christmas and in there is an open edition Duffy the Disney Bear
Now, as far as we know (and if we are incorrect please let us know pin aficionados) this is the first Duffy pin released in Paris since the rumours. Is this an early introduction to Duffy for the European audience or is this just another pin to come out of the resort. Although Cast members have confirmed Duffy is coming Disneyland Paris management have kept tight lipped (quelle surprise!) If he is coming, expect him to be making an appearance in this years Dreams of Christmas parade.
