I want to preface this article with one thing. What you are about to read is all pure speculation. There has been no evidence of any truth in the images you are about to see.
I was contacted by a reader of disneybrit.com today with two great new images that had been passed to them. These images show the possible track layout of the new Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train coaster coming to the new Fantasyland expansion.
If the images are correct, it seems that the attraction will get a FastPass entrance as well as a standby entrance. The queue, which seems extensive, will no doubt add to the story and immerse guests in the world of the Dwarfs. Will this be a journey deep in to their mine? It is also interesting to note that the track does not go through the Dwarf’s cottage at any time. This could become a gift shop or snack location (The exit path does pass by it). The track layout also seems a good length, giving a possible 3-4 minute ride. The entrance also looks to be towards the already existing area of Fantasyland. Could it be that the entrance will be in the main Fantasyland area or just beyond the wall of the Castle grounds?
With the layout inserted in to the expansion plan, it seems that this could have the largest footprint of all the new attractions. It looks to take up a good chunk of the old 20,000 Leagues area. Could it even be classed as a new E ticket attraction?
As we have already said. All of this information has not been confirmed in any way by any Disney official. It could just be a fanboy’s dream but it could also be an Imagineer original. We all know how Disney can accidentally release information.
What do you think? Is it truth or just rumour?
