Disney promised that February 29th 2012 was to be a day to remember. It was to go down in history as something special, the first time that the Magic Kingdom was to open for 24 hours straight with many of the rides and attractions open for the duration. The park will close at 6am on 1st March only to re-open a few hours later. So, what are you to expect if you are heading over to the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday 29th February.

We are expecting most attractions to operate for the full 24 hours although some will be required to close so that any daily maintenance can be carried out. It is believed that this will be done of a rotation basis and done through the early hours of Thursday 1st March

Disney have indicated that there will be at least one dining location open in the park at any one time. We are not aware if this will be on a rota or if they will keep the same location open and rotate staff. Expect it o be a counter service location and possibly a table service location.

Although not a complete line up, here is what we are currently expecting to be offered around the park during the 24 hours.
