With the opening date for the 1st wing of Disney’s newest Resort themed around Finding Nemo due to open for May 31st Disney Imagineers have revealed the opening dates for the other 3 sectors:
- Finding Nemo (Grand opening) – Opens May 31
- Cars – Opens June 18
- Lion King – Opens August 10
- Little Mermaid – Opens September 15
Booking for this resort opens today, though I am not sure I would stay there until the whole resort is complete as I would love to explore all the different areas! If you are planning to stay here this year let us know what it is like!
Just a question about the resort Art of Animation – Little Mermaid wing. Is this one ready? For guests planning to arrive mid of August, is safe to book this resort?

As stated on the original post the opening day for the Little Mermaid wing is September 15th. It is therefore not available if your staying during August this year. However you would be able to stay at all the other wings (Finding Nemo, Cars, Lion King)
