I am so blessed to be able to visit the ‘home’ of Disney (Disneyland California) this September which many of you know I am insanely excited about and there are lots of exciting new attraction that will be waiting for me. The California Adventure Park has been under going a 5 year expansion (similar to the Fantasyland project in Florida) with the jewel in the crown being Carsland. A new video showing the latest state of development was released on the Disney blog today and I have to say I am extremely impressed at the faithful reconstruction of Radiator Springs it is beautiful! Not only will there be Carsland but Buena Vista Street will be opening, which is a recreation of the 1920’s Hollywood that Walt himself would have experienced including the traditional red trolley cars taking guests up and down the street. Finally there will also be a new restaurant inside a replica of the iconic Carthy Circle theatre building, which is very significant in Disney history as it is where Walt premiered Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs back in 1937.
