Did we wish we were at the launch of the 20th anniversary celebrations for Disneyland Paris? You can bet we did!! Sadly, we weren’t able to make it out but the positive news is that their were others that did! In fact, it was so well attended their are already hundreds of videos online showing all the excitement the event. DLRPmagic.com were on hand to take in all the sights and sounds and they returned with these wonderful videos. Opening Ceremony – 31st March 2012
To celebrate the beginning of the new celebration, Disneyland Paris held a special one off ceremony with all the Disney character favourites, resort ambassadors, Dutch singer Fabienne Bergmans and Hollywood actress, Salma Hayek
Disney Magic on Parade
The new parade debuted in all its glory with the new sound track “Magic Everywhere” as well as new floats and costumes.
20th Anniversary Celebration Train
Possibly the least anticipated element of the celebration is the reincarnation of the train that has been travelling up and down Main Street USA for many years. Now, in it bright stripped colours, the train has a more impressive character line up for guests to meet and greet.
Disney Dreams
The biggest buzz of the whole event was that of the new night time spectacular, Disney Dreams. The Central Plaza area had been reworked to house this massive production that uses technology from the Magic, Memories and You, Fantasmic and World of Colour.
