Mickey & Minnie get a colourful makeover with D-Tour Series 2, available now
Released in October 2014, the D-Tour 2 series is already a big hit with Vinylmation collectors everywhere. It’s also a really good series to choose if you don’t collect yet but want to start. Solely featuring Mickey and Minnie, the series has been designed by multiple Disney artists. Available in the parks and D-Street in Downtown Disney at $12.95, you can also find the collection online at Disneystore.com – although you’ll need to buy the tray at $207.20. This series was created especially for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort. Figures in this series include: Tiki Mickey (Caley Hicks), Kawaii Minnie (Maria Clapsis), Moustashe Mickey (Eric Caszatt), 80s Minnie (Anne Marie), Queen Mickey (Maria Clapsis), Lalita Minnie (Leah Mutchlev), Mickey (Thomas Scott). The chaser is Rearranged Mickey by Thomas Scott and the rarity is 1:16.
Lalita Minnie, Mickey, Moustashe Mickey, Tiki Mickey and 80s Minnie are all quite common but Kawaii Minnie and Queen Minnie have proved to be a bit more elusive. It’s also worth looking out for the D-Tour Eachez vinylmations, limited to 1000. There will be 900 of the black and 100 of the white, $16.95 each, released 21st November 2014.
