It seems that not all the Disney Princess are accepted straight away in to royalty unless there movie is a success. We are pleased to announce that Rapunzel’s movie ‘Tangled’ has been deemed such a success that she will be given a right royal celebration here in the UK.

On the 2nd October 2011, a ceremony will be heald in the grounds on Kensington Palace. According to the Disney Parks Blog “All ten Disney Princess characters will be there, joined by VIPs, celebrities and little princesses from around the globe. The festivities will include a procession through Hyde Park, party activities and an amazing welcoming ceremony.”

More details will follow in the coming months and we hope to be there for the event. Keeping checking back for more info as we get it.

  1. Can we buy tickets to go to this?

My daughter absolutely adores Rapunzel. She loves all the princesses and would be thrilled to see them all.

    1. There has be little information released by Disney other than this. I think the ceremony itself may be for invited guests only but I’m sure there will plenty of other things going on to try and draw in a crowd. As soon as we hear anymore we will post it on disneybrit.com

  2. Ditto to what Clare asked – our little girl would absolutely love to see this, and as her birthday is the week before it would be a great event to take her to. Any more info would be greatly appreciated!
