The vast Disney Traditions collection by Jim Shore had two best-selling additions last year. These two figures were often sold out in store and online and were difficult to get hold of.
The Anna & Elsa figure “Sister Forever” sells for around £50.00
Expect to pay £25.00 for Olaf Silly Snowman.
These collectibles are more readily available these days, but they’re about to be joined by a 3rd Frozen piece and I think it’s reasonable to expect this to quickly sell out.
Fortress of Frost – Elsa in an ice castle dress – is available for pre-order and due for release in April 2015. This looks like it’s going to be an amazing piece for collectors to add to their Frozen collection!
If you’re new to the world of Jim Shore and Disney Traditions, it’s really worth checking out his beautiful work. Hundreds of pieces are available, from small Christmas tree ornaments, to huge villain castles. You can expect to find wonderful pieces such as all the seven dwarves walking along a log, all the Disney Princesses which can be added to a carousel, individual character pieces and so much more. From Mickey & Minnie Mouse to Donald Duck and Goofy, all of the classic characters are covered, along with Pixar, The Muppets, and so much more. These pieces are great investments and are ideal for fans of Disney.
All of the pieces are made from Stone Resin and no two pieces are the same due to them being hand painted. Take a look at the Traditions listed on Jim’s Website by clicking here. If you’re wondering where you can buy these collectibles, then you’ll be pleased to know there’s lots of buying choices for the UK. eBay is always a great place to pick up a bargain and Amazon stock Traditions. H Samuel is a really good place and they often have sales where you can grab genuine bargains – but they sell out super quick and are often out of stock. Nigel O’Hara has a stunning selection at decent prices, and Preshunt is also great if you want to buy online.
Are you a huge Frozen fan? Will you be adding these to your collection?
