We have received official confirmation that the Vinylmation set commemorating 25 years of the Disney Store will be heading to the UK. We do not have a confirmed date as to the release of the set but we know it is definitely coming. So, what is all the fuss about? The 12 blind box set will each have a unique new feature. When accompanied with the light up base (sold separately) they will be able to light up from the bottom up.
Bases will not be sold separately but will come with the Sorcerer Mickey figure which will be the only one of the set in an open box. This will be the 13th figure in the set and comes as a package in an unusual styled box.
We do anticipate that this figure will cost slightly more than the others. Although there is no official word, expect the 12 figures to cost around £8 with the Mickey figure and base at £11-12. The full set for the 25th anniversary is pictured below.

Disney store’s facebook page said yesterday that they have some new vinylmation going on the website next week, which is bang on when they were thought to be coming out… fingers crossed (& looking at my prevous comment, i still didn’t manage to save anything, though i have had some great vinyls delivered in that time!)

I know we usually don’t get much information when ringing your local Disney store. Bluewater said ring Oxford Street, Oxford Street said they don’t have them at the moment and will find out if they will be stocking them on Thurdsday.
On another note Oxford Street do not have any Royal Guards. They do however have some Nerds and they did have Bakery.
Bluewater have Bakery, Nerds, Have a Laugh, Urban 6, Tunes.

The Viynlmation Light up Mickey release date is still to be decided but they are targeting the end of May.
(At least that’s what the UK Disney Store website told me two weeks ago.)
