“A few hundred people crowded the gate at opening. Buttons were handed out as guests passed the turnstiles. The trolley and double decker bus were in full force on Main St. People crowded the Emporium to buy the commemorative tee shirts. Inside the park, guests crowded around characters, but attraction lines remained short for now. The foggy morning skies are beginning to clear, giving way to a bright Florida sun. We expect a record breaking high 80s temp today.”
