With the 20th anniversary celebrations getting ever closer we are beginning to get a clearer idea of just what some the special perks for guests visiting during this special year will be.
Disneyland Paris announced news that it will extend opening hours during the celebration and it isn’t until now that we understand just what they meant by that. If you were to visit the official website you will find park hours for the first half of April 2012.
According to the current schedule, guests will be able to enjoy 1 and a half to 2 and a half hours of extra fun in the parks. The weekday closing will move to fairly constant 9.30pm, a huge boost from times when the park could close as early as 7pm in the past. The weekends move to 11pm at the weekends and with extra magic hours still available to hotel guests, the resort will begin to offer 15 hour park touring days. The reason? Yes, so they can advertise extended hours at the park but also so they can offer Disney Dreams each night when it is completely. Does this mean we could see park closing as late as midnight in the Summer? We will just have to wait and see!
