Walt Disney Imagineering have just release a video showing you the interior of the new Fantasyland restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.

In this video, provided by WDI, Senior Concept Designer Ted Robledo presents the very first sneak peek inside this highly anticipated restaurant. Imagineers recently put the finishing touches on one of its major elements: a massive mural that will serve as the restaurant’s backdrop. Here, Ted shows how WDI combined digital technology with traditional artistry to create a sweeping landscape that gives guests the feeling that they really are walking into a part of the film:
Wow that certainly looks impressive! Very interesting to see how the took the digital image then used a projection of it to get the set painters to repaint it. Most large format graphics I have worked with in the past have simply been printed in large sections (very much like wallpaper just wider) and pasted in place. This is another demonstration of WDI going beyond the norm to produce something that little bit extra special for it’s guests. I can’t wait to see what they reveal next, if the technology that has been installed in the cruise ships is anything to go on we could be in for something truly magical! We’ll keep you posted!
It does look lovely, do you think that they will break with magic kingdom tradition and serve beer ?
