Kodak is pulling sponsorship of Disney Parks as part of it’s plans to save it from Bankruptcy. The partnership has ran for many years and has been iconic as part of the photo spots around the parks. Kodak also once sponsored the Imagination Pavilion and Journey Into Imagination attraction at Epcot. But a Disney spokesperson said that sponsorship ended some years ago, so that area should not be in any danger.

Disney have said that the Photo Spot signs will be getting reprinted, to remove the Kodak name. Obviously the spots will still be photographic and worth taking a snap, but from now on will not be Kodak great!

This is a sad time in terms of corporate sponsorship, but brings into perspective the global financial situation of the brand names that you take for granted.
