Yesterday we announced the launch of Mousemeets 2012. If you missed it you can find the article here. SInce the launch of the event we have had several enquires from people wishing to bring children but not pay the full £20 as they don’t think their children will get their value for money. Well…….. We have double good news for you.

Ticket Price Change
Having deliberated (along with much badgering from Mrs Disneybrit), the decision has been made to reduce the child’s ticket to £15 for those aged between 4 -13. Not only that but at certain times during the event their will be activities run specifically with the kids while other activities are offered in the main event room. These activities will be overseen by a member of staff trained to work with children as well as being fully CRB checked.

Cheap Hotel Rates
For those of you who are committed to coming already then you will be rewarded with much cheaper hotel rooms! At this moment in time, the Copthorne are offering rooms from £50 (maximum double occupancy) but the biggest bargain is the Travelodge Winter Sale. Rooms are currently being offered for as little as £15 for a night in a city centre hotel (price checked 1.50am , 29/12/11). Both the Bull Ring hotel and the Central Moor Street are a 10-15 minute walk to the Copthorne hotel and a 5 minute walk to the cities shops and restaurants.
