The official date for the opening of the new Fantasyland has finally been released!
The grand opening ceremony will take place on the 6th of December 2012, attractions included in this opening are Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto, Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour! Village Gifts. The previews of these attractions will start on 19th November.
The Fantasyland expansion will still continue after December 6th with Princess Fairytale Hall opening in 2013 and the debut of a new Disney “mountain” in the form of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in 2014.
Phase 1 of the expansion – Storybook Circus, opened in July and you can currently enjoy the following attractions Barnstormer – Starring the Great Goofini, the Casey Jr. Splash & Soak Station, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant.
