The Disney Parks blog just released a few beautiful paintings giving us an updated view of what Fantasyland will look like from above, along with some fairy tale views of what it will look like in our imaginations. I also happened to be walking around the Magic Kingdom today and grabbed a few shots of the construction progress. But first, a VERY important update: Disney has moved the time they will begin taking reservations for the Be Our Guest restaurant from Noon to 7AM EST on Monday, August 20.

This view of the new Fantasyland has a little more “fantasy” elements to it than the previously released drawings. In this one, the artist makes it look like a real village set against rolling hills of green. This view also moves us a little more past the castle and shows more walkway, less entrance wall and a more detailed Storybook Circus area.

The second painting is a simply stunning view of Ariel look onto Prince Eric’s castle as the tide rolls in. It looks like she is imagining the wonders inside… just like all of us.

Next up is a look at Belle reading a book outside her father Maurice’s cottage. Note the hidden Mickey in the pond at the bottom.
