Joe returns with another instalment of his photo diary. Read below what he has been up to.
I spent Christmas Day at the Magic Kingdom and they had some shows and parades from the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. The park was full to capacity and they stopped people from coming in around noon. I took some photos of the Christmas Parade and also a Christmas Show that was at the castle.
I was lucky to have gotten a fast pass for The Little Mermaid ride in New Fantasyland. The ride had a 120 minute wait and the fast pass was so worth it. I waited on line for maybe 5 minutes. This was the first time that I didn’t take photos on the ride and I was more impressed since I was able to just relax and watch and enjoy the ride. A few things that I noticed; Ariel’s hair seems to move whenever there is an animatronic figure of her. Not only that but her eyes move back and forth and her eyelids go up and down. Ursula’s face was very expressive with her eye lids, eyes and even eyebrows moving. I noticed for the first time that there were fire flies around the Kiss The Girl section. When Sebastian sings his mouth is in perfect sync with the words. Also King Triton’s trident actually has a glowing special effect.
