The Polynesian Resort is to step back to 1971 as part of the makeover of the resort. Announced today, the resort will be renamed the Polynesian Village Resort, the name given to it on opening day.
There aren’t the only changes as Disney will also be adding DVC to the property and bringing in a version of the Disneyland favourite Trader Sams. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto will become a new feature along with new food and beverage experiences.
