Have you ever wonder how some characters in the parks sign your autograph books? Like I mean what about King Louie. How do you you grab a pen with ridiculously long arms. I mean they are not ridiculous in terms of Orangutan length, but in pen and a paper circles they are stoooo-pid!

The thought had never crossed my mind until recently when Craig Duncan showed me the solution. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios there is a meet and greet with Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck it Ralph. Vanellope is like a young girl, with normal size arms and hands. Ralph on the other hand (no joke meant) suffers from King Louie-itus. His arms trail on the ground. Craig’s kids had been collecting the character autographs and decided to ask Ralph for his.

Instead of reaching for the sharpie marker, they were handed this little collectors card.

Vanellope-and-Ralph

A nice little collectors piece to create memories from the parks. Although this doesn’t answer why Vanellope didn’t sign! I’ve seen people get her autograph, so it isn’t because she can’t write. Maybe the policy has changed and she doesn’t want Ralph to feel bad that he can’t grip a pen. Or if you ask from Vanellope alone, she will sign, but if you ask for both or just Ralph you get the card.

If you know the answer, comment below. Have you had their autpgraphs?
