Are you ready for a new kind of story?
This new “short” animation is new for a couple of reasons. It is there first half hour animation and is being made as a TV special. The project is due to be released in October 2013 with a second one being released in 2014. Although Pixar Canada was set up to provide direct to TV animation Toy Story of Terror is being made by Pixar Animation Studios.

What starts out as a fun road trip for the Toy Story gang takes an unexpected turn for the worse when the trip detours to a roadside motel. After one of the toys goes missing, the others find themselves caught up in a mysterious sequence of events that must be solved before they all suffer the same fate in this Toy Story of Terror.
However that seems to be very generic and similar to the others in one for or another.
Expect to see this Halloween.
