Park 13 is a colourful collection of park characters from the worlds of past, future and fantasy. Created especially for Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, the series features: Devil (Mr Toad’s Wild Ride); Claire de Room (It’s Tough to Be a Bug); Injun Joe’s Cave (Tom Sawyer Island); Catastrophe Canyon (Studio Backlot Tour); Three-Headed Troll (Epcot Maelstrom); Boxobot (Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin); Trader Sam (Jungle Cruise) plus the chaser – and a variant. The artists for this series are: Maria Clapsis – Catastrophe Canyon, Trader Sam, and Three-Headed Troll; Thomas Scott – Boxobot; Dan Perillo – Devil; Ron Cohee – Calire de Room and Injun Joe’s Cave. As of last week, Park 13 was also available at Disney outlet stores in Florida, as well as the parks and downtown Disney.
The chaser is the infamous ‘Pardon our pixie dust’ construction sign by Caley Hicks, rarity 1:16.
The variant chaser is also by Caley Hicks and is currently selling on eBay from anything as low as $30, up to $53.00.
Also available is the Park 13 Tower of Terror set limited to 1500, RRP $69.95. The set is currently available on Amazon.com for $179.99. It features: Bellhop, child, Nanny, husband and wife, with each figure having the purple/blue/white variant. All of the figures have been designed by Ron Cohee.
