From The Daily Disney

Grand Gathering Experiences — events designed for parties of eight of more who are staying together at Walt Disney World — will end Jan. 28, wdwmagic.com first reported and a Disney spokeswoman confirmed.

Among the offerings to be canceled are the Safari Celebration (a late-afternoon safari followed by dinner at Tusker House with live animals and their keepers); Good Morning Breakfast (served family style by a singing host and many characters at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant); and the International Dinner & Illuminations Dessert Party (a buffet in Epcot’s Odyssesy Restaurant following by priority seating and dessert at Towers Plaza).

There now are special experiences available to all guests that will accommodate groups, such as Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party and two new, larger restaurants at Epcot, Via Napoli and La Hacienda, Disney said in a statement.
